Snapping to distant lines
Snapping to distant lines
In Illustrator by default lines you are making snap with certain points of other lines in the same drawing, such as the middle, top and bottom. Aligning everything with each other is a really frustrating time consuming experience in Inkscape. Please tell me how to enable this feature in Inkscape. If it is not in Inkscape please tell me.
Re: Snapping to distant lines
Snapping can be set in inkscape.

The snap control bar is marked with 3 on that image.

Also, you can use widely the align and distribute panel for such purposes (Shift+Ctrl+A).
