Hi Everyone, I'm Brian. I've been using inkscape since last year. I'm not a designer but I love designing. I saw those creation in the showoff discussion, they all look awesome! I'll show you one of my work.

It's a Car company logo. Well it's my dream to build one. I can only make simple objects. I wish I could make one like I those I saw in the show off discussion. I believe the experts here would help me to improve. I hope we can help each other.

Nice logo! It's your dream to build a car, car company, or new logo? I started using Inkscape knowing close to nothing about internet graphics. I found it much more user friendly than raster editors! Pretty quickly, with help from this forum, I was drawing nice images. And there's still so much more to learn.

Feel free to post some of your own images in 'Show It Off' section, if you like. Or ask for help in 'Help with Inkscape' subforum

Thanks! Well I dream to build a car company. Haha, it's a wild ambition! But having a dream is free, right? My logo is inspired by a bird called "Peregrine" eagle. So if you noticed those are bird's wings stretched out.

Yes, inkscape is pretty the best as an alternative to the paid vector software. And it's user friendly as well. It's really great to hear that you could improve your drawing from this forum. I hope I can improve mine too.

Oh yes, I know what a peregrine is, since I studied forestry in college (although 30 yrs ago ). Except that here in the US, the bird called peregrine is a falcon (a kind of hawk). Technically falcons and hawks are not the same as eagles, but they are all birds of prey, and related at some point. But I digress

Dream on! And keep Inkscape close by to catch the dreams on paper.....errrr...computer screen
