[solved] help with install

Hi, I'm a neophyte with this application - it was recommended to me by someone from adobe.

ANyway. I downloaded and installed and when I tried to run it, it asked me "where is x11?"

help?!?

I assume you're using a Mac. You first need to install X11. Here's a page about how to do it for Tiger. It might be different for other versions of OS X.

It was really recommended by someone from Adobe!? Inkscape.org should quote that boldly on the front page of the website ;)
