I need VERY basic information

I need VERY basic information

OK so I need to know more basic things than even the introduction has, is there a dictionary for this thing somewhere? I want to know things like what is a path and how do you make and use a path, what is a vector, and do I need to know how to use it to make a 2D picture? ANyone know where I can find very simple info?

In the Help menu > Tutorials, they are written for complete novices.
Also, Wikipedia is a good place to learn about the difference between raster and vector graphics.
