sine wave on a curve

Postby PickMark » Sat May 30, 2009 1:11 pm

I need to create a sine wave and then manipulate it into a curved path. I do not want the sine wave to stay vertically oriented, rather I would like it to "fit" itself into the curved path desired. i know how to make the sine wave using the function generator, but after I create it I cannot figure out a way to have it follow a curved path.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can use pattern along path Effect >> Generate from path >> Pattern along path or live path effects at the bottom of the path menu.
