Hi All,

I've just acquired a Bamboo graphics tablet and have been using it in the excellent Inkscape. All going very nicely, and it's a huge productivity aid, except for one very annoying little problem. I use either the pen tool or the calligraphy tool for freehand writing/drawing. I can't find how to draw a single dot with either of these tools! So I can't dot my i's, I have to cross them The pen tool draws a straight line when single clicked, and the calligraphy tool seems to have some kind of minimum distance to begin drawing that I can't change.

Is there anyway to override either of these behaviours?

I don't believe there is a setting. You might like to raise this with the developers on the mailing list.

OK, thanks... I'll look into that. Will post here if anything changes.

UPDATE: To draw a dot using the pencil or pen freehand tools it's ctrl-click. You can't currently do it with the calligraphy tool, but a bug report does exist for this:
