Keep seeing the bottom and the right page border

Postby fraatsr » Tue Nov 08, 2011 7:04 pm

Hi,

When I create an image, I use the no border document type. I resize the page to the size of the image and save it as a PNG. When I upload it to a program, I keep seeing the bottom and the right border of the image, even though I don't see them in the original inkscape file.

Image

Note: I've deselected the "show page border" and "show shadow" boxes, although I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

The Inkscape page border would not show on an exported PNG.
You say that the lines don't show in Inkscape, but they show when loaded into another program. What about the PNG alone? Do you see the lines in the PNG, or only in the other program?

I do notice that there are lines below each large rectangle in the 2 bottom rows of large rectangles. However, they are so close to the rectangle, that they're hard to notice. Are those lines supposed to be there, or are they anomalous as well?

Hi,

When I open the images in paint, I don't see them. I use paint as a work around right now by opening and saving the images in paint. When I upload the images in my program after those actions, the lines are gone.

However as you noticed, the lines are also there in the other rectangles. Each page consists of 9 images, and with a total of about 100 pages, it's quite a shore to open and save them all in paint before I can upload them.

What puzzles me is that it only shows the bottom and the right border, not the upper and left border. Looking at inkscape, it seems as if it's somehow showing the shades and not the borders.
