Hey guys,

I installed Inksape today and am very impressed with it. One thing though is that I can't seem to get the layers dialog to pop up. Even after pushing CTRL+SHIFT+L... Any ideas how to correct this? It's Inkscape version 0.42.2. Would that be the problem? Not sure if Layers were implemented in that version.
Appreciate any feedback.

As far as I know, the latest "stable" version is 0.46, which seems newer than 0.42.2.

I suggest you go to the inkscape web site and download a newer version.

Thanks. Was hoping I didn't have to download anything but will give the latest build a try.

According to the release notes, the Layers dialog wasn't added until version 0.44, so you definitely won't be able to open it in version 0.42.
