Salute ! I'm Becra from Switzerland !
Sorry for my english, I usually speak french.
I discovered Inkscape in 2006 with my study but the vector drawing was too difficult to me.
Now It's been 2 weeks that I'm learning how to use it.
Normally I draw on paper some illustrations and I love calligraphy. I hard learn Inkscape 'cause I want to draw lettering with it.
I registered into this forum because I have some problems and I can't find the solution with the basic search engine.
I hope in this forum to learn more and meet some persons who love calligraphy and use inkscape.
Yeah !

Re: Salute from CH

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
Oh, someone just posted the other day, who uses Inkscape to do calligraphy! I can't remember who, specifically, but maybe your paths will cross. However, it would not require people who enjoy calligraphy, to answer your questions. Please feel free to post a new topic for your questions, in the Help Using Inkscape board. Or if it's work in progress, you could post in Work In Progress board. However, if you will need to attach a screenshot, the WIP board doesn't accept attachments. So perhaps Help Using Inkscape would be better either way

PS - How does it happen that CH is the abbreviation for Switzerland?

Hi !
Sorry I didn't notice that my topic was approved.
Thanks for welcome !
("CH" means "Confédération Helvétique", it's the (very) old name for "Switzerland")
