Hi guys.
I'm out of my depth here, I don't know much about graphic design, but I've muddled along so far to make changes to an image I have received. What I'm unable to do is hide the portion of the clouds that are not on the blue background. I have tried to manipulate the object layers, but the lighter brown background is an unusual shape and needs to be below the blue circle, so handling this via layers isn't going to work. I think the clouds can be "chopped off" along the line of the circle.
I remember seeing something somewhere about hiding parts of an object along a path, but honestly, I'm not even sure what the proper terms to search would be.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? To see what the file itself looks like, see attached...
[solved] hide portion of object?
Re: hide portion of object?
Welcome aboard!
You can use clipping.
Possible solution attached -this way, as the hole is clipped out, there should be no anti-aliasing issue appear.
Or should I say from fear of anti-aliasing to clear thinking.
Good luck!
