Found this video which shows how to make a flower of life.
It goes into some issues when trying to do this in Inkscape, which makes it even more interesting.

Flower of life
Re: Flower of life
Pattern would need a 90° rotate.
Also circles at the edges are missing.
And how would then you fill it up?
Edit: remembered this one, looked it up:

Re: Flower of life
Not sure what you mean...
Have you watched the video ??
The image i posted its an exact replica of the technique Danny Wilten shows.
I have tried to draw a flower of life in Inkscape some time ago (before i found the video) and found it very difficult. (i tried something with rotating circles and failed)
The video shows a very interesting workflow and the final effect when he upscales all circles by 200% makes for a nice origami magic trick.

Re: Flower of life
Was referring to the flower of life in general.
In that, petals are in a vertical axis as connection between heaven and earth if you will, not in horizontal direction -which way it has an opposite meaning, closer to the symbol of Pisces.
I'd rather use snapping once the "base tile" looks fine. (And the * tool to draw dodecagons first, so intersections are placed well.)
