Realistic Woman

Postby klyuchnikovart » Fri Apr 03, 2009 8:06 am

i've a crazy idea to make a fully realistic woman picture by vector-graphic using Inkscape 0.46
i've already done some beginnings (it's about ~100 objects i've already been done).. but i'm goal-directed to make a good-realistic work. i was working with some programs for raster-drawing before, but never using inkscape and vector-drawing (excluding flash) until 3 month ago. i just fall in love with inkscape program. (offcourse if do not take some not-qualitatively complete rendering http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2958). perhaps in future version it will be better.. or may be it's not possible to change... i don't know...

so, here it is what I have currently made:

I hope at least once a week to update on this topic :tool_pencil:

Argh...
a fellow seeker...good luck on your quest for the "grail"
I think you may need some experience with real woman to pull this one off....LOL (sorry i couldn't resist that one....)

yeah good luck it appears you have quite skillfully built up a nice smooth gradient looking filled background with those 100 objects...
nice work...

i don't doubt you have the skills...beware of burn out though... i to am guilty of putting 5000% effort and detail into a work and then taking months to or actually never completing a piece....

looking forward to your fine finished pieces....

Here it is some wrinkles and i add a little of contrast objects-blur on eyebrows for more expressive/convexity..

I did not do much wrinkles at this stage, because just wanted to taste how realistic it will be.. and well, I can say that everything is moving very well :D and much faster as i thought earlier.. will see..
and now my aim is about to make eyes... 'cos it is the most important part of the face if talk about realistic look..

right now head looks much more closer than a 3d object, but still not a realistic face 'cos of mono-colours and less-shadows in my opinion... i'll try to do later in gimp color editing, and we'll see what changes....

time after time to make sure that every object looks entire in large size ('cos sometimes inkscape may hiccup) -> i'am making an export to png (with 6400px width) and it takes about 15 minutes :? oh my goodness... what will be later...
looks like I'll test the full strength of inkscape very soon
or'll test the strenght of my computer =)

by the way, on the idea, in this picture will not be the only face, there'll be the body, hair and so on... so... i'm a little frightened...

but everything will be fine !

I will do it !

the impossible sometimes become possible

Hi.. I haven't been here more than 2 weeks.. Here what I've done for this time... =)
I want to save some waiting before my final "release" of picture =) so I just go deeper in drawing for this weeks, and now I have a WOMAN =) in SVG of INKSCAPE..
Soon I'll post here more stuff, this just take a lot of time to prepare. But for now let it be only wire frame pictures..

Well, let it be for now just a little bit to show the image.. =)

For now like this.. Soon will be more..

By the way, there is so much interresting to making hair in inkscape! So easy with path effect! Just fantastic! I LOVE IT!!!! ;)

to continue, add the next piece of the picture
(at this pic she still havent got eyebrows)
as you can see, woman is not young.. this is middle age..

for today, I have come very-very closer to the final image. I've done everything what i can in Inkscape. So next stage is Gimp!I use Gimp for Final color correction. Today I start some colorizing, so the image now look much colorfull! MUCH colorfull. Soon i'll show the unbelliveable difference between first color image, and after Gimp colorizing...
I mean Contrast, Saturation and other stuff like this..
For this time, I show an part of elbow with colorizing.. Here it is:

Next time will be more..
Stay with me... :D

still not sure will someone like my final work..
will see. :?
