how to use "create and edit gradients" i need some more explanation

Have you seen this? You can find it in Help menu > Inkscape manual, with an internet connection. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... -Gradients

If you have seen it, please tell us where you are getting stuck, or the part that you don't understand.

For a quick start: Use Fill and Stroke dialog > Fill tab > linear gradient or radial gradient button. The buttons sort of look like what they are, but are not necessarily obvious (at least not to me). But if you hold the mouse over a button for a couple of seconds, a tiny bit of text pops up to say what it is. Then switch to Gradient tool to reveal the handles which are used to adjust the gradient, change stop colors, add stops, etc.
