clips wrong part of picture anyway to invert?

Postby kazb100 » Mon Jun 16, 2014 2:27 am

Hi

I've drawn paths but when I clip I am left with the background instead of the picture is there any way to invert the selection?

Thanks

Hi.
Invert selection by hitting the exclamation mark !

Better method ? ;
Make a 'Backgound' layer (Shift + Ctrl + L)
move background layer to bottom of layer 'pile' (Shift + Ctrl + PgDn)
select background, move background to background layer (Shift + PgDn)
Lock background layer. (Padlock Icon in the Layers dialog).

Selection will not pick up anything from the locked layer.

Good Luck
