I have an svg image created in Inkscape (.48) that fails to retain it's original colurs when inserted into either drawplus or pageplus.
There is no problem when exported out of Inkscape as .png.
The image is one word with green fill letters and darker green stroke. The inserted image changes to black fill and a bright green bord[er.
Any ideas anyone, please?
Thanks

Re: svg file inserted into other graphic programmes
Hi.
Do those programs support the whole rgb range for texts, or just indexed colours?
Did you try converting the text to path in inkscape (Shift+Ctrl+C) and use that svg file instead?

Re: svg file inserted into other graphic programmes
There seemed to be a problem with the fill colour in the vectorisation. I copied / pasted each letter, re-applied the same colours to fill and stroke and for some inexplicable reason it seems to have worked. Sometimes, things are just a mystery to me.
But solved, so thanks to all

It was originally a raster image?
The auto-trace is not capturing right the colours in the current stabile, which may cause the problem.
I'm a bit confused by your explanations and glad you found a solution.
