when I save my *.svg-files to pdf (I use 0.47) then the pdf-files are very big.
is there any solution (addon...) to get smaller pdf-files with inkscape?
or are there any hints how to save in an optimized way?

I solved my problem:
my file has a big text-area and two svg-graphics in it.
I always thought, this couldn't be the reason for having a pdf-file with 3m!
I forgot a picture that I shifted outside the page-area.
well, I didn't really forget it (thanks heavens, I still have my eyes working
) but I thought, that this picture (or any object outside the page-borders) would simply be ignored when creating a pdf-file.
but this was a big mistake.
after deleting this picture I have a wonderful 170k file!!
maybe this could help someone too sometimes.
