Converting SVG image to less color image

Postby Mntz » Sun Oct 26, 2014 8:04 pm

Hi,

I drew some SVG image, but found out that i can use only 10 colors.
Since i used gradient and other stuff, i have more than that.

How do i check how many colors my image have?

Then even more important question - how do i automaticaly reduce the amount of colors used (eg. in gradient) to limit the color count?

Thank you :)

Welcome aboard!

So you want to make an svg with the whole rgb palette to be reduced to 10 colours only?
A quick and dirty workaround would be to export image to png, open it with inkscape, and trace bitmap with 10 colours set.
