If I open a SVG created by TreeGraph2 I see that lines, dots and text are grouped together. When I would like to edit some of those elements and use ungroup in Inkscape the text (font) settings seem to change because the font size gets bigger.
I attach a sample file.
Would appreciate help how to prevent this behavior which possibly I also encountered earlier when editing imported PDF.

I saw that same behavior recently, in an SVG file that was created in a 3rd party app. I don't know for a fact that it can't be prevented, but I would guess probably not.
With Ctrl + click, you can select individual objects inside a group, and work on them that way.
Hhmmm....I'm not sure why this works....but if I select the group, and do Path menu > Object to Path, before Ungroup, then the text does not change when ungrouped. However, the text is no longer text, and cannot be edited as text, after converting to path.

Because I want to edit the text "Object to Path" does not work for me, but Ctrl + click and single editing by text edit (had to re-enter the desired font and size) is a partial solution.
Since also the font style seems to be lost I suspect it has to do with some type of strange font formatting/grouping. Only odd thing is that it works being grouped in Inkscape.

Known regression in Inkscape 0.91:
