Hi whenever I try open or import a .ai file, it is clipped to the boundry of the page. Even though there is info on the outside of the page (I know its there since if i open the same file in illustrator, it shows the graphics that extend beyond a page (ie they are not clipped).

When I open/import I have tried with
Page Settings, Clip to:

unchecked
media box
crop box
trim box
bleed box
art box

But it doesnt seem to make any difference. I have googled and it and I see there are similiar problems with eps's. I tried changing a python script but got no joy (the apparent eps fix).

Please Help. I really like this program, but I cant see the open and save dialogues (dont worry about that now, I have a blank .SVG I copy and past in explorer) , and now I cant open all of a file. Alot of the vector art on the web is not within the page boundary, so I suspect I am not the only one facing this problem.
