I just recently installed and HP photosmart C4635 printer and everything seems to print fine in all my other programs. When I open up specific art and photo program like Inkscape and Gimp, nothing will print at all. I downloaded the most recent drivers and updates for my printer, but still nothing happens. I also have it set as default printer. I click print and nothing happens, down at the taskbar there is a little printer icon and when you move the mouse over it I get a message saying "O documents pending" I am pulling my hair out, I really need to get this to work any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if I can help, but this trick worked for me when I couldn't get something to print, a while back. Open the image in you computer's image viewer (usually a double-click automatically invokes it) and click print from there. I'm guessing it's not going to just jump up and start printing though. Probably some sort of dialog with various print settings will come up first, and once you OK those settings, it should start to print.
