Can't use the Envelope command

Hi I tried using the envelope command under extensions>modifypath and I received an error message prompting me to download files to make it work. When I followed the link I was a bit confused as to what I should download. I have a mac and am used to dmg files but I didn't see a clear path the a dmg file that I should download. Please help a newbie! I added a screenshot of the message. Thanks

Well I followed the instructions but now when I use extension commands nothing happens. I just get a window saying that such and such effect is being processed but then no effect occurs. I included a screenshot of line of code I was told to add. I had inkscape closed when I was adding it and when it was saved.
