Drag and drop images in mac os x mavericks is not working

Drag and drop images in mac os x mavericks is not working

I am on os x mavericks and have the latest stable version of inkscape. Inkscape is running via X11 and I have been unable to drag and drop images into it from the Finder. Is there a way to do this or this feature not supported in os x? Thanks Lee

As far as I can tell drag&drop is not supported by the X11 environment.
You have to import images via ctrl+I.
