paste without background problem?
I´ll try to explain it simple.. When I have copied a design, pasting it, it looks like it´s copying the design as a "image" and not the actual design. As you see in the picture, the white "background" is hiding the underneath layer/design. Is there any way to avoid that so a copied and pasted design doesnt hide the layer underneath?

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
That's a bug that affects only Mac users. Here's all the info about using Inkscape on a Mac, and includes the paste problem: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php ... fic_issues. Instead of copying, try duplicating
