HELP - a computer crash corrupted the (saved) file I was working on

Postby carlijnbr » Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:49 am

Thus... My computer got stuck when waking up from sleep mode while I was working on a drawing in inkscape that I saved before closing my laptop.
I had to do a hard restart of the laptop since I got no response. And since then my .svg file seems to have been corrupted.
When trying to open it I get the "Failed to load the requested file C:\Users\carli\OneDrive\Documents\Werk\PhD thesis\fracture repair.svg" message. And after searching this seems to be a more common problem meaning the file somehow got corrupted.

Can anybody somehow help to save this file or part of it?
It took quite a while to make...

Sorry to say it but your file is not recoverable. It's of all NULL bytes, the whole 49.92 KB bytes, not a single trace of the original SVG content.
