Gradient question,

Example; I created a rectangle, stroke black, fill any color.
Apply a gradient, done.

Now, when I move the rectangle around, the gradient does not move with
the rectangle. I even tried "group" after selecting everything but I just can't seem
to make the gradient effect, STAY with the rectangle.

Isn't there some way to do this ?

There's an option to turn it on on the Selector toolbar, find 4 buttons on the right -hand side, moving gradients with objects is one of them.

-> "make the gradient effect, STAY"-put

Of course, I knew there was a way.
I must have turned it off recently and, well.... forgot.

So many little bells & whistles-> re,re-read docs !!
Feeling slightly embarrassed over this.
