This may seem a bit of a strange request,I have taken a interest in Ostrich Egg Carving, Could someone kindly direct me to a link ,or how ,i can do my designs in Inkscape.As you may know a Ostrich Egg is a large Oval shaped egg,I want to be able to make my designs , on a template,shaped in a manner,that when wrapped around the egg,it will fit nice and neat,so that i can then copy the design onto the egg.I hope i have made myself clear, all helped would be appreciated.

Simple solution:
Get the Ostrich Eggbot kit;http://shop.evilmadscientist.com/productsmenu/tinykitlist/430
Draw your design in Inkscape,
Mount the egg in the eggbot,
Transfer the design from the computer to the egg using a pencil in the eggbot.

I have the Ostrich Eggbot kit's little brother, the Original Eggbot which is suitable for normal size eggs, it's a wonderful little machine.

Have fun, post some images of your designs.

Thanks for your help.At the moment I am only learning to use Inkscape,so I have no images to show,Is there a European supplier of the Eggbot ?
