Black Filled Text Appears Transparent over Clipped Object

Postby moorrona » Sat Feb 11, 2017 1:45 am

Inkscape 0.92
Windows 10

Black Filled Text Appears Transparent over Clipped Object, I can change the fill color to anything but 100% black and it will appear on top.

Anyone have any clue what I am doing wrong or what is going on?

Screen shoot attached for reference.

Regards

Hi.

Keep an eye to the blending modes&filtering. Layer is set to screen instead of normal.

Thank you, I must have accidentally switched that setting. I do however need to do some studying with that feature as I have never intentionally used it or even knew it existed.

Keep in mind that layers are technically froups and blending modes are filters applied on them.
That means when saving as pdf they need to be rasterized.
