is there a place where i can specify the size of an object?

lets say i want to recreate the starbucks logo. i have a starbucks tshirt that i am measuring the circles. the outside circle is 10 inches and 1/4 inch wide. then the next circle in is 9 inches (just an example, not accurate numbers). how do i make my circles the exact size i want?

i realize that i can just eyeball it, but if i am copying something that is already designed, i just want it to match.

can i do that? how?

thanks!

with the :tool_selector: selected, the tool control bar allows precise numerical input for width and height - but watch out for the width of your stroke being included or excluded from the measurement, according to what you have set in your inkscape preferences! One peculiar result if you have 'visual' selected - in outline view stroked objects will appear smaller relative to the grid than the control bar tells you, but once you know what's going on it's ok...
Your mind is what you think it is.
