Hi,
I am using Inkscape 0.91 portable, and everytime I select two fonts (Helvetica/Helvetica Neue) to place text or edit text, I get a C++ runtime error and the programme crashes. This is happening only with these two fonts, which are installed properly as a font family in my system. These fonts show up properly in MS Office applications and also on web browsers without issues.
Can anyone help?

Could you give us a file to test with? And a link to download the font (free hopefully)?
I don't seem to have that font, although it sounds familiar. Have you tried downloading from a different site than you first downloaded it? (Inkscape seems to be picky about fonts. Sometimes they will work fine in other programs, but not with Inkscape.)

Hi,
Thanks, one set of fonts which I am using (Helvetica) is available at http://we.tl/uddfBPueGD.
I am using the 0.91 portable version, where it is giving a runtime error. This however, works perfectly well using the regular 64 bit 0.91 version.
I have given the error screenshot. I dont know if attaching a file would help - the error occurs whenever any text placed is converted to the Helvetica font
