Having trouble copying and pasting a group.
Having trouble copying and pasting a group.
So when I paste the group it has some white fill in the area the object isn't. So when I try to layer things it ends up looking like this... ... what am I doing wrong?? is there a setting for this or something?

Do you have a white rectangle inside the group?
Are you making a bitmap copy instead of copying objects? How exactly are you making the copy?

Are you using a Mac? If so, change the pasteboard settings for X11 as described here: Re: Mac Snow Leopard?
