Hey

I am very new to Inkscape. I want to curve a the side of a text box/object around an oval picture. ie so that just one side of the paragraph of text is curved around the graphic, on a path. Can i do this in inkscape?

draw a path of the shape you want for the text, select your text and that path and do Text > Flow into Frame

I guess the easiest way to draw that path is to draw a rectangle, then an elipse that is exactly the shape of the oval picture, and do Path > Difference
