Can't get latex equation to work (ubuntu)

Postby hongocat » Thu Nov 10, 2011 12:39 pm

I've successfully installed the extension and get the dialogue screen running for the latex formula, however I'm not getting any results for the simplest of equations such as \sum_{i,j}.

I have tried looking at eqtexsvg.py and it does include the amsmath package.

using inkscpae .48 and ubuntu 11.01

What am I missing here, any suggestions??

Thank You.

well, I dunno

I would take a guess at a problem with the font you are trying to use?

post back if you get it working please.

To clarify, I can get simple text in but any latex related formulation, e.g. /sum, doesn't work.
Anyone has had similar problems?
