Hi, I'm using Inkscape to create labels and am having a lot of difficulty setting up a template with the grids.... one Google search result said to import a PDF label template and work from there, however the sizing I want wasn't listed. The labels I have are 2x12 columns 0 margin on top/bottom, 5mm left and right, with 5mm gap in the middle. I'm using Australian A4 (210x297) and just cannot workout how to set up the gridlines to make a template, I have got as far as document properties, grid - new grid and played around with origin XY, spacing XY and major grid lines. Miraculously I've got the major horizontal lines worked out by fluke rather than skill. Would love some coaching from an inkscape expert to set up a vertical line down the centre and horizontal lines to centre text on each label AND a deeper knowledge of grids please.
