reunite letters

Postby Lemonie » Mon Jun 20, 2016 7:21 am

I have opened an old document and the text on the graphic has I think had object to path used on it. When I click it first goes to a dashed line around each letter and then if I click again it goes to nodes. I need to know which font I have used and change one of the words. Is there a way to renunite the word so that which I click in it it is editabel?

Try the xml editor (Shift+Ctrl+X), the text object's style is usually saved.
But you will need retype the text and adjust it manually to that formatting.

Try Lazur's approach first. If that doesn't yield anything useful, there are online font identifiers that try to name your font based on a bitmap image of it. They'll be most accurate if you've got a good sample of different letters in your text.

Just search for "font finder" or similar to find a few sites that are free to use (they're usually paid for by trying to sell you the fonts they identify, but there's no obligation to buy).

Am going to try what Lazur suggested first. I know the font, it is Baekmuk Gulim but it doesn't seem to exist anymore?
