Greetings,
After creating my image and having it printed, the quality is sub-standard.
The goal is to have the .svg approach photo quality.
The independent local photo printer (Shutterbug) prints in .jpg
Is there a concensus as to the best approach to convert .svg to .jpg?
Thank you for your time and input.

Re: save as jpg
Also, for really high quality color printing, I think you'll need to use the CMYK color print model. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5943

Re: save as jpg
I usually use GIMP (open source) to save as a jpg.
How big does your end result have to be? Because the issue could be that you need to export a larger svg to png, and be sure you are exporting the png, not using the save as cairo feature. I usually set the export at 300 dpi to get a larger file, you can enlarge it in GIMP, but I prefer sending it over large.
BTW, I don't send my stuff to a printer, it's just the standards where I sell to have a large file...
