vectorialize a monocrome bitmap

Postby bomastudio » Thu Jan 06, 2011 12:17 am

How can I do to vectorialize a monocromatic bitmap so I get a single path instead of an offset one?

I'm not sure what you mean by
...a single path instead of an offset one

I think probably you'll want to use Path menu > Trace Bitmap. But if that doesn't work, reply back and we'll try again :D

Use 'autotrace' for centerline tracing, outside of Inkscape (potrace - used by Inkscape as tracing engine - doesn't support centerline tracing).
