Postby caipi-dale » Mon Aug 12, 2013 6:10 pm

hi, i have a problem with saving my drawing as a "bitmap export" (shift + ctrl + e) without any quality loss ???

i draw the complete graphic in inkscape and want to save it in a scalable png without quality loss ??? i don`t know what i do wrong? Thanks for help.

It is not possible to convert from vector graphic to raster images without some loss.

The only theoretical method to make a raster image from a cector image without quality loss would be to set the image size to infinite.

If you read up and learn the basic difference between vector images contra raster images you'll se why.

Hello there!

Can you show us an example file with the format you would like to have?

Make sure you are using the export bitmap under the File tab, and not the cairo export.
Also, for good results, export at about the same size as what the end result needs to be (without resizing later), that helps the most for me (and I sell on stock sites).
