Hello everyone
I am trying to use the eraser tool in InkScape and so, whenever I create something, and then create another thing, I can't erase. I can only erase on the first object I've drawn. Is this supposed to be or am is there something that I need to do?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)

You have to select first the object you want to use the eraser tool on -if you want to cut out parts of a path-.
That is how it is supposed to be working.
