Does anyone know how or if it's possible to do zoom blur or simulate it in Inkscape?

Thanks, i was inspired byt the great zoom blur that Pixelmator has and thought that "maybe" something similar could be achieved in Inkscape.
I guess the normal blur in Inkscape isn't real vector since it's either skipped or rasterized when exported or saved as PDF so if we could get a zoom blur working the same way it would be awsome.
I'd love to see what you/anyone comes up with that looks like zoom blur
