Postby noyan » Thu Nov 27, 2014 6:02 am

Hi everybody and forgive me for my bad english.

I have tow curves that cross themselves in one point. I would like to make that point a new node.

Can someone explain me how can i do this.

Isn't 'adding new node at path intersection' a new feature on 0.91? Or I thought I read something about that. If it's not, I think I'll write a tutorial for this, or maybe just put it into the FAQ!

You might find this question is already answered in the forum, several times (by searching). Alhough hitting on the best search terms could be tricky.

The short answer is - position the Node tool mouse pointer over the path, between the 2 nodes, so that the 2 nodes are highlighted, then double-click.

The long answer can be found in the manual http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Paths.html
