When i use calligraphic tool , white fields appear on crosses of the path of the tool. Is any setting to turn off that? Watch it on the printscreen i have attached. I would like them to be black.

Yes, it is called the "fill rule": http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... -Fill-Rule
