CAD - Tool Extensions.

Postby ragstian » Thu Feb 19, 2015 4:13 am

Hi.

Working on a "trim" extension.

I have compiled a list of "features" for the extension as seen in the dialog below,
Any other idéas on features?

My first CAD-extension plus a description of the trim, fillet and chamfer can be found in this post[url]http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18411[/url

There is no 'thumbs up' smiley nor a 'clap hands' one. Ragnar :)

When will your extension be ready for download? :)

Hi @ragstian,
Thanks, I found your "Circle by two points" here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18411#p69305
Will there be more of such useful tools?
I know that Inkscape is not a CAD-Tool but a few more of such geometry helpers would be really great.
Win7/64, Inkscape 0.92.2

I haven't seen Ragnar around for quite some time, so he probably won't answer.

However, I thought I saw an extension or 2....or maybe was LPE? Yes, LPEs: Ellipses by 5 points, and Transform by 2 points. Not sure if they do exactly the same thing. Extensions menu > Render > Draw from Triangle, is similar too, I think.
