Inkscape can't correctly read some PNG files created by GIMP

Postby Will Pittenger » Tue May 27, 2008 4:01 pm

The image below shows what happens. I had compression set to the default (9) and I turned on interlacing. Turning the interlacing off and setting compression to 0 fixed the problem. I am running Windows XP Pro SP3, Inkscape 0.46, and GIMP 2.4.5.

This looks like bug 168386 (which may have an incorrect title - I doubt that the size of the image is the problem).

Would it be possible for you to post the PNG file that Inkscape doesn't read correctly?

No. I assumed the options I used would be enough. So I deleted the file. I just tried to recreate such an image and it won't work. Sorry.
