star along the path [solved]

Postby nightingale2k1 » Wed Jun 27, 2007 8:18 pm

I draw a star ... and then i draw a complex path.

Afteer that I did Pattern along the path .. it successfully put the stars on the path. But i got a problem, the star formed is not looks good .. it like melted ...
My question is.. how to keep the star in good form ?

Thank you !

You want the star to follow the path without the star being deformed? It can't with the "Pattern along path" effect as far as I know. I'm not sure it's possible to do at all... which seems to be an oversight.

If your path is complex the only solution would be using a custom marker made from the star object, preferably with a combination of the pattern along path lpe.
Here is something similar.
