My first post. I cant save/export as eps

Hi This is my first post and I have searched the forums but cant find a definitive answer . I am using inkscape to open an SVG file to alter the text and save it as an EPS , but although I can go through the export process so far it just will not do the last part of saving.......

Any pointers appreciated. I am sure a thread exists its just finding it.

What are the indications you have, that it's not being saved. Is there an error message? Could it be getting saved in a different folder than what you were expecting?
