How to relink an image (in a doc imported from Illustrator)

Postby jkantor » Sat Aug 15, 2009 1:52 pm

I have a document I created in Illustrator which already has a linked image. How do I relink it? (It's scaled and rotated to exactly how I need it, so I can't easily re-import it.) And how do I get rid of the "Linked Image Missing" message?

I tried to search on "image" and "link", but the really intelligent search function here said that the words were ignored because they're too simple.

  1. right-click on the image
  2. choose 'Image Properties'
  3. change the uppermost value (i.e. URL) to the new path to your image
