Hi there!

I found this image on the swiss website of the redbull phone company. http://www.redbullmobile.ch/imgs/bgs/footer.png

I like the lines, that start with the shape of te bull and get lost to the left but stay always parallel. Also the lines crossover each-other in some position.

Can you guys give a hint how to create something similar?

That is a neat effect! I suspect that you could design the top and bottom paths by hand, and then use Extensions > Modify Path > Interpolate to add the extra lines between them.
