How to import from Open SVG library in version 0.48 win7

Postby mleijd » Fri Feb 18, 2011 7:07 pm

Hi,

I am a newby to Inkscape, but for some reason I cannot get the SVG import working from the Open SVG library.
I set the account properties as documented in the Inkscape preferences, but I do not get an option in the file menu that says> import from open SVG library. According to some Youtube tutorials, this should be there.

Any hints on what I probably do wrong here?

I use version Inkscape 0.48.0 r9654 on a windows 7 - 64bit platform.

Thanks in advance,

Michel Leijdekker.

Not yet supported on Windows: Bug #174797 “Add "Import/Export to Openclipart" on Windows as well?”.

Browse to http://openclipart.org/ using your preferred web browser, search for your clipart, save the clipart SVG file to your hard-disk (make sure to save it as SVG file and not as HTML page) and then import the locally saved SVG file (File > Import) or drag&drop it into your current Inkscape document.
