Print to Scale

Postby synergy24 » Fri May 10, 2013 4:11 pm

Hi! I am trying to make a costume. I want to convert small images of reference pictures of armor to a larger scale (size it would be on my body). I've been looking around at tutorials, but it'd be helpful to have some more direct answers. I downloaded Inkscape specifically for this project. I want to be able to set the dimensions of an image to for example 14 inches wide (and for it to scale appropriately), and then print it on regular paper at those dimensions. I realize that the dimensions of regular paper aren't that, so I figured I'd print a few images and then tape them together. This would serve as a blueprint for constructing actual armor pieces. Thanks!
