How to add color code to my text

Hello,

I am new to Inkscape. How to add a exactly color (like #DC1232) to my text?

Welcome Judy12!

Select the text. Then Object menu > Fill and Stroke > Fill tab. No matter which tab you use to apply the color (RGB, HSL, CMYK, Wheel, or CMS) there is a field called "RGBA" which holds 8 characters. The first 6 are for the hexcode like your example. The last 2 on the right are for opacity. ff is fully opaqe, while 00 is fully transparent.

That's assuming that the circumstances call for a fill. There are situations where you would want a stroke instead, or maybe even a fill and stroke. If that's the case, then it's the same story for Fill and Stroke > Stroke paint tab :D
